Another first for us this morning. We attended the
district meeting in Gisborne and it was so good. Elder Harrison is the district
leader and he did a wonderful job of instructing and inspiring us all. Near the
end of the meeting they did some roles playing both Elder Saunders and I got to
be people on the street and that was so much fun. And no we didn’t give the
missionaries a hard time.

Hello the Saunders, it has been a while since we indulged ourselves in reading your blog. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us. You seem to be having such a fantastic mission and look so happy in your photographs.
ReplyDeleteOur family pray daily for your safety and your success. We know that you will be blessed abundantly for the sacrifice you are making :-)
Our middle one, Sara, has developed a good friendship with your Bethany and looks forward to meeting up at Stake events. She is excited about them spending more time together during the upcoming YW's camp in August.
With continued good wishes for you both and much love,
Marty, Amena, Nialah, Sara and Noah Chakravarti
How lovely it is to hear from you. It's so good to know that Bethanie and Sara are friends and will spend time together at YW's camp. YW's camp those were the days, right Marty?? New Zealand is a very beautiful place and we feel so blessed to be able to serve the Lord here. We have made many eternal friends and as you can see and read experienced so many different things. We are now half way through our mission, which has gone so fast. So I'm sure the next 9 months will go fast but we will make the most of our time here. We work hard and also play hard!!!
ReplyDeleteLove to all your family and look forward to sharing the experience we can't post on our blog.
